inverse_hiring_protocol // klarvant careers

We want to be the dumbest people in the room.

Seriously. If you are smarter than us, we need you here. We do not fill positions and we do not hire CVs. We hunt for signal in the noise.

root@klarvant:~/careers#

<the_context />

We are building something genuinely different.

Every enterprise has shadow infrastructure it does not know about: forgotten domains, orphaned cloud instances, third-party dependencies no one is tracking. The digital attack surface is invisible until something breaks, or gets breached.

Traditional tools need integrations, agents, credentials, and weeks of setup. By the time they are deployed, the infrastructure has already changed. We asked a different question: what if you could map the entire external estate from the outside in, with zero integration, continuously?

Our AI does the relentless heavy lifting: scanning, detecting, and analysing billions of data points, fast and accurate, around the clock. But it is not you. We need the strategic minds that direct it, the architects who see the unseen, and the builders who hate friction. We are not filling seats; we are upgrading our collective intelligence.

An explorer wearing the Klarvant mission badge, looking out over the horizon.
Every journey starts with a single step. Yours starts here.

We care about your signal.

depth_seeker

Depth Seeker

You dig until you find the root cause. "It works" is not enough; you need to understand why it works, and under what conditions it breaks.

friction_killer

Friction Killer

Complexity is a disease. You simplify everything: APIs, interfaces, internal processes. You ruthlessly cut unnecessary steps and cognitive overhead.

truth_teller

Truth Teller

You challenge ideas, including ours. You critique the product because you care about excellence. Egos do not matter; outcomes do.

builder

Builder

You ship. You automate. You build tools that make your own job obsolete. Perfect is the enemy of done, but "done" had better be excellent.

<target_vectors />

Not job titles. Problem domains.

These are the domains where extraordinary people create extraordinary leverage. Do not see your exact role? That is the point. The org chart adapts to talent, not the other way around.

no_perks_theatre

The real stuff. In writing.

No ping-pong tables standing in for a culture. We operate at minimum to B-Corp standards, and we are working through formal certification because being externally verified keeps us honest. Here is what that looks like in practice, today.

Right to disconnect

Take your time off. Log on when you log on, log off when you log off, and feel no guilt about either. The right to disconnect outside working hours is a policy, not a vibe.

Mental health days carry the same weight as sick days

There is no separate category and no narrative you owe anyone. Take the day you need.

Real Living Wage minimum, everywhere

We pay at or above the Real Living Wage in every jurisdiction we hire in, with an annual pay-equity review so compensation is not biased by gender, ethnicity, or any other protected characteristic.

Remote-first, low footprint by design

Remote-first and paperless by default. Hardware runs a minimum four-year lifecycle and is returned for proper recycling at end of life.

Professional development is part of the role

We invest in your development as much as in your output. The two are not in tension.

Mission lock, written into our Articles

Our directors are legally bound to weigh the impact of decisions on workers, customers, suppliers, the community, and the environment. The stakeholder commitment is in how the company operates, not on a poster.

transmit_signal()

Don't send a CV. Send a signal.

Standard applications get standard rejections. We want to see how you think, not where you worked. Pick a challenge and write to us in your own words.

[A]

The Hard Problem

Tell us about the hardest technical problem you have solved. Go deep; we love the weeds. Why was it hard? What did you learn? What would you do differently?

[B]

The Critique

Tear us apart. What is wrong with our homepage, our positioning, our architecture as far as you can infer it? How would you improve it?

[C]

The Artifact

Show us something you built: a repo, a portfolio, a design, a video, a whitepaper, anything. Explain why it exists and what problem it solves.

[D]

The Wild Card

Surprise us. Show us something that reveals how you think; anything we could never get from a LinkedIn profile.

Ready to transmit? Email us your chosen challenge. No recruiters, no form letters, just you, in your own words. Plain-text email, copy it across:

Subject line: the challenge letter and your name. We have hired engineers who never finished a degree, designers who came from gaming, and researchers who started as sysadmins. What they shared was relentless curiosity and a bias for action. That is the signal we hunt for.

ai_slop_tunes // the soundtrack

The soundtrack to building the future.

These tracks are AI-composed and human-approved, generated when we are deep in the zone: shipping at 3am, debugging edge cases, or celebrating a release. They are ridiculous, they are authentic, and they capture the energy of building something that matters.

Version Four · Lights Come On

Britpop anthem · 4:11

The anthemic release track. Shadow IT in the in-betweens, DNS and certs about to blow, then a signal cuts through the noise. Zero-integration opens the door and Namespace Command lights up the sky.

Quantum anthem · 4:00

The clock is ticking. Harvest now, decrypt later. From TLS 1.3 discovery to hybrid certs to full post-quantum migration, we build the quantum wall before the old keys decay. We move before Q-Day.

The upgrade anthem. A new build drops like a paradigm shift: discovery sharpened, the brand surface watched, the board briefed. This is what happens when the platform flips the tide.
